As an analyst at the Seurat Group, I have gotten the chance to work on a variety of types of projects for many different client organizations. I am chiefly responsible for conducting primary and secondary research. This can include developing surveys, conducting shopper interviews, analyzing shopper and syndicated data, and researching macro trends impacting the industry. A lot of what I do comes down to using multiple data sources to develop a deep understanding of the shopper, category, or retail environment.
Why the Seurat Group?
I was initially interested in the idea of consulting because I loved the idea of working with a variety of different organizations. The CPG industry in particular is fascinating to me because we are dealing with very tangible products that have a daily impact on households all over the world. Specifically, I chose the Seurat Group because it provided me with the opportunity to work closely with people who have had years of experience in both the CPG and consulting industries.
Favorite Part of the Job:
My favorite part about working at the Seurat Group is what I do on a day-to-day basis is always changing — nothing I do is cookie-cutter or routine. Every project I work on gives me the chance to think in new and different ways about the best way to solve a problem, interpret data, or present an idea. At the Seurat Group, there is definitely room for everyone in the organization to contribute their own ideas and opinions.
Originally from Massachusetts, I attended Middlebury College where I studied Economics, Psychology, and Spanish. Working at the Seurat Group as given me the chance to apply skills from all three of my main areas of study. Outside of work, I enjoy swimming, cooking, water-skiing, and reading.SUBMIT RESUME
